Hi everyone. Just a quick review on Doctor Pom. I contacted Dr Pom on messenger regarding a urinary problem. He replied almost immediately and asked me my symptoms. I replied with the symptoms I had and he advised me immediately. He even sent me an appointment notification to show at the specified hospital on my arrival. I’ve been fortunate over my long life in that I have had to make very few visits to the hospital, but I do remember well the regular trips to my local pediatrician as a boy in the suburbs of New York, and I was reminded of them during my visit to Dr. Soarawee. Yes, he is a top-tier world-class urologist, among many other things including being one of the few physicians, certainly in this part of the world, trained in the use of the Da Vinci Robotic Assisted Surgery system. But it was his generosity in taking the time to sit down with me and answer all my questions both before and after my procedure, his ‘family-doctor’ style bedside manner when he came up to my room to see how I was feeling, all of these human touches from a very busy guy who was constantly flying around the region, that impressed me most. Dr. Soarawee also treated my condition successfully, and I awoke after a few hours to find all of the unpleasant symptoms gone. I can’t thank him enough for his skill, and his compassion.

I was in excruciating pain when I went to see Dr. Pommy, the Chief Urology Department, Royal Phnom Penh hospital in Cambodia at about 9:00 AM. He surprised me by telling me that I could be treated in the afternoon. After being hit with 7,000 shock waves, NO MORE kidney stone, and no more pain. At the same time, my creatinine levels returned to normal after the treatment that day. It was like killing two birds with one stone. I highly recommend lithotripsy treatment for kidney stones. The treatment was virtually painless and I had relief almost instantly. Dr. Pommy was very kind and professional in handling my health issues.
I underwent kidney lithotripsy removal surgery using a laser endoscope at this hospital. This Royal Phnom Penh Hospital is the only hospital in Cambodia that can perform this procedure, and I was transported to this hospital because other hospitals could not handle it. The doctor in charge was Dr. Soarawee Weerasopone, a member of the Department of Urology. This doctor was very kind and friendly, and even after I was discharged from the hospital, he used Line to take care of me a lot. In addition, there is a Japanese Help Deck here, and the staff used the Japanese very well and responded politely. The necessary documents for insurance coverage were also prepared immediately. I think this is a wonderful hospital.

I had problems with urine incontinence (active bladder) my life was a mess; I couldn’t sleep for 3 weeks, because every night as I lay down I get the urged but as soon I go the the toilet… Small stream and nothing. This was 8 – 10 times a night which effecting my overall health and well being, my quality of life went down hills. I found Dr Soarawee Weerasopone on the Google search. Chat with the doctor he patiently listen to my problems and give an answer. He ask me to come in for testing. 3 weeks later my symptom or ailments are gone.
I would highly recommend Dr. Soarawee… If you are having issues dealing with urine incontinence; he will seat down and actually listen to you, and he has a great great personality.
